Birth Date: 3/27/1957 Year became a diver: 1990 Instructor level: Master Scuba Diver Trainer Specialty courses taught: Boat, Deep, Dry Suit, Enriched Air, Equipment Specialist, Night, Wreck, Rescue, Emergency First Response, Solo Diver, UW Photography.
Favorite place to dive: Grand Cayman. I go there every Summer with the family. Favorite Splash event: Haunted Quarry and Pumpkin carving contest.
Additional personal info: I am an active instructor and one of the owners of Splash Water Sports. I promote scuba diving as a family sport. Scuba diving and snorkeling can be taught to all members of the family. My daughters scuba dive and snorkel with me. Scuba is great fun, educational and a non-competitive sport. Teenagers and parents have very few things that they can enjoy together, I have found that scuba diving and the interesting travel it can involve has created a unique bond between my daughters and I. Learning to dive is great fun and a wonderful experience for the entire family. I invite you to join us!
Favorite thing about diving: Wow that would take up a lot of space so I will keep it simple, always a new adventure and meeting interesting well traveled people.
Other things you may want to know about me: In addition to being a partner of Splash Water Sports my family and I own LaBella Bean coffee house in Bridgeville. Stop by for great coffee drinks and excellent lunches. My family consists of my incredible daughters Alyssa, Alexandra and Gabrielle. The newest addition includes my girlfriend and best friend, Carol D. She also has 3 great daughters, Megan, Mallory and Michelle. Yah I know, way to many women in my life but I wouldn't have it any other way:) |
