DIRECTIONS Take I79 North to left on rte 322 at Meadville Exit (105 miles), 322 West to Right on North 18 (6.2 Miles), 18 North to Left on Oakland Beach road ( 1.7 Miles), Follow Bend in Road at Oakland Beach. DESCRIPTION Conneaut Lake is a boaters lake you must get there early to get good diving in. If you beat the boats the lake is like glass and very clear. It is rumored that many a cars have been abandon in the lake. Average depth 50 ft. Maximum depth 70 ft. Bottom Composition: Flat and clean with a constant slope. Water Temp 70 degrees Summer 25 ft under thermocline. Hazards: Underwater lines, Pool and Dock Pipes.
